The City of Roswell will host a Public Input Meeting on Monday, June 5, 2017, to capture community input on potential future uses of the property previously occupied by Fire Station #4 at 1601 Holcomb Bridge Road. All members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at East Roswell Recreation Center to share their vision for this property. Mayor Wood, members of the City Council, and City staff will be present to provide information and answer questions.
A new Fire Station #4 was recently opened at 1400 Old Alabama Road, leaving the City to decide what to do with old Fire Station #4 property on Holcomb Bridge Road. The 0.74-acre parcel has a current zoning designation of CIV (Civic and Institutional), and the City would like the public to help determine the most appropriate zoning and usage for this property, consistent with the community’s vision for the Holcomb Bridge Road corridor and the needs of the surrounding neighborhoods.
East Roswell Recreation Center is located at 9000 Fouts Road in Roswell.
